Children’s Safeguarding Policy

USAVEME Child Safety & Safeguarding Policy

Protecting Children. Respecting Families. Building Trust.

Last Updated: October 20, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

USAVEME (usaveme.com) is a global technology platform designed to connect compassionate individuals with children and verified child-focused organizations in need of support.

We believe every child deserves to live free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination, and violence.

The safety, dignity, privacy, and well-being of children are our highest priorities.

USAVEME is committed to promoting responsible sponsorship practices and maintaining a safe digital environment for children, parents, guardians, sponsors, and participating organizations.

Our safeguarding principles include:

  • The best interests and welfare of every child come first.
  • Every child under the age of 18 has an equal right to protection, regardless of nationality, race, religion, disability, sex, background, or circumstances.
  • Children must never be exploited for financial gain, religious influence, publicity, or personal benefit.
  • Children and families must be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
  • Concerns involving suspected abuse, exploitation, neglect, or trafficking must be taken seriously and addressed promptly.
  • Child protection requires cooperation among parents, guardians, organizations, sponsors, and appropriate authorities.

2. Purpose and Scope

This policy establishes USAVEME’s child-safeguarding principles and the responsibilities of everyone who participates in its ecosystem.

It applies to:

  • USAVEME employees, management, contractors, and volunteers.
  • Registered sponsors and donors.
  • Parents, legal guardians, and authorized caregivers.
  • Registered children, where age-appropriate participation is permitted.
  • Child-focused organizations and their representatives.
  • Anyone using USAVEME to communicate with, represent, or provide assistance to children.

These standards apply to activity conducted through the USAVEME platform and related services.

Violations may result in account suspension, removal, termination of participation, or referral to appropriate authorities.

3. Child Protection and Zero Tolerance for Abuse

USAVEME maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward the abuse or exploitation of children.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.
  • Child neglect or abandonment.
  • Child trafficking, forced labor, or criminal exploitation.
  • Grooming, harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate communication.
  • Sexual exploitation or requests for inappropriate images.
  • Bullying, cyberbullying, threats, or coercion.
  • Misrepresentation or exploitation of a child’s circumstances to obtain money.
  • Unauthorized sharing of a child’s private information, photographs, or location.
  • Any attempt to use financial sponsorship to gain inappropriate access to or control over a child.

Suspected criminal activity may be reported to relevant law enforcement or child-protection authorities.

4. Registration and Verification of Children

USAVEME is designed to allow children to receive support through an authorized parent, legal guardian, caregiver, or qualified organization.

To protect children:

  1. Child registration must be completed or authorized by a responsible adult or approved organization.
  2. Appropriate consent must be obtained before personal information or photographs are collected or published.
  3. USAVEME may require documentation or other reasonable measures to verify guardianship, identity, and eligibility.
  4. Children must not be required to communicate directly with unfamiliar adults to receive sponsorship.
  5. False profiles, fabricated sponsorship requests, and misrepresentation of children’s needs are prohibited.

USAVEME may reject, suspend, or remove profiles that present safeguarding concerns or cannot satisfy required verification standards.

Verification reduces risk but cannot guarantee that every representation or document is authentic.

5. Communication Between Sponsors and Families

USAVEME aims to provide tools that allow sponsors to manage their sponsorship relationships and receive appropriate updates.

Sponsors must communicate through an authorized parent, guardian, or approved organization representative—not privately or unsupervised with a minor.

The following rules apply:

  • Communication must remain respectful, relevant, and appropriate.
  • Sponsors must not request a child’s private contact information, home address, school location, or sensitive personal details.
  • Requests for private meetings, secret conversations, or unauthorized contact are prohibited.
  • Sponsors must not pressure children or families into providing photographs, videos, personal favors, or additional information.
  • Parents, guardians, and organizations must be able to report inappropriate communication.
  • USAVEME may restrict communications or suspend accounts where safeguarding concerns arise.

Where communication tools are available, USAVEME will seek to implement appropriate reporting, access controls, and safeguards.

6. Child Privacy and Personal Information

Protecting children’s personal information is essential to maintaining a trustworthy sponsorship platform.

USAVEME is committed to limiting the collection, display, and sharing of children’s data to what is reasonably necessary for authorized platform activities.

Safeguarding measures should include:

  • Obtaining appropriate parental or guardian consent.
  • Restricting access to sensitive records.
  • Limiting public disclosure of children’s identities and locations.
  • Avoiding publication of full home addresses, school information, identification documents, or sensitive medical details.
  • Protecting uploaded photographs and documents from unauthorized access.
  • Providing appropriate procedures for reporting and correcting inaccurate information.
  • Retaining and deleting personal information according to applicable legal obligations and documented retention policies.

Information concerning children must never be sold or disclosed for unrelated marketing or exploitation.

USAVEME will seek to comply with applicable child privacy and data-protection requirements in the jurisdictions where it operates.

7. Photographs, Videos, and Public Profiles

Photographs and stories can help sponsors understand the needs of children, but their publication must never compromise a child’s dignity or safety.

Parents, guardians, and organizations must have appropriate authority to provide images or personal stories.

The following content is prohibited:

  • Images depicting abuse, humiliation, or exploitation.
  • Sexualized or inappropriate images of minors.
  • Images revealing unnecessary sensitive or identifying information.
  • Misleading photographs or fabricated stories used to solicit assistance.
  • Content published without appropriate authorization.

USAVEME reserves the right to remove images, videos, or profiles that violate these requirements.

Children must never be pressured to provide photographs or personal stories in exchange for assistance.

8. Sponsor Responsibilities

Sponsors play an important role in supporting children and families.

All sponsors are expected to:

  • Respect the dignity, privacy, and rights of children.
  • Communicate only through authorized representatives.
  • Refrain from attempting to contact or visit children without appropriate safeguards and authorization.
  • Respect family boundaries and cultural differences.
  • Avoid making financial support conditional on personal access, favors, religious participation, or other inappropriate demands.
  • Report suspected exploitation, fraud, or abuse.

Sponsorship does not grant parental rights, custody, authority over a child, or unrestricted access to the child’s personal information.

9. Responsibilities of Parents, Guardians, and Organizations

Registered parents, guardians, caregivers, and participating organizations are responsible for accurately representing the children under their care and acting in their best interests.

They must:

  • Provide truthful registration and eligibility information.
  • Maintain appropriate legal or custodial authority.
  • Protect children’s privacy and personal information.
  • Use received sponsorship funds responsibly for the stated needs.
  • Avoid coercing children into participating in communications or publicity.
  • Report concerns about sponsors, platform users, or other participants.
  • Comply with applicable child-protection requirements.

Organizations must maintain suitable safeguarding procedures for their activities and personnel.

USAVEME may request additional information when concerns arise.

10. Direct Sponsorship Payments and Financial Protection

USAVEME is designed to connect sponsors directly with authorized recipients.

The platform does not intend to collect a percentage of child sponsorship payments or donations.

Eligible recipients may provide supported payment details, such as PayPal accounts or cryptocurrency wallet addresses, to receive contributions directly.

External payment services and blockchain networks may charge transaction fees.

Direct sponsorship funds are separate from USAVEME’s commercial operations and its $USAVE cryptocurrency.

To help prevent financial exploitation:

  • Fabricated child profiles and fraudulent fundraising requests are prohibited.
  • Payments must not be used to obtain inappropriate access to children.
  • Recipients must not be pressured to return funds to sponsors or platform representatives.
  • Suspicious financial activity may result in account restrictions or referrals to relevant authorities.

USAVEME cannot guarantee how recipients use funds outside the platform. Any verification, reporting, or oversight measures must be accurately described to users.

11. Religious Neutrality and Non-Discrimination

USAVEME is not a religious organization.

We welcome individuals, families, and organizations of all religious beliefs and backgrounds.

Sponsorship assistance must never be conditioned on religious conversion, attendance at religious activities, or participation in ideological programs.

No child should be denied access to assistance solely because of their religious beliefs, ethnicity, nationality, disability, or family circumstances.

Our goal is to promote compassion, dignity, and equal opportunity.

12. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Anyone who suspects that a child may be experiencing abuse, exploitation, neglect, trafficking, or other harm should report the concern promptly.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority. Do not wait for USAVEME to respond.

Concerns involving the USAVEME platform should also be reported through its published official support or safeguarding channels.

Reports should include, where safely available:

  • The relevant account or profile.
  • A description of the concern.
  • Dates and times of relevant incidents.
  • Supporting messages, screenshots, or transaction information.
  • Any immediate safety risks.

Individuals should not conduct their own investigations, confront suspected offenders, or publicly circulate sensitive information about children.

USAVEME will seek to review reports promptly, preserve relevant information when appropriate, restrict accounts where necessary, and cooperate with lawful investigations.

Reports made in good faith must not result in retaliation.

13. Safeguarding Responsibilities and Training

USAVEME recognizes that effective child protection requires appropriate policies, trained personnel, and clear accountability.

The platform’s safeguarding program should include:

  • A designated safeguarding contact or responsible officer.
  • Written reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Appropriate screening for personnel whose duties involve sensitive child information.
  • Safeguarding awareness and role-specific training.
  • Procedures for handling complaints and suspected misconduct.
  • Periodic reviews of privacy and platform security.
  • Cooperation with qualified child-protection professionals and relevant authorities.

Personnel who violate safeguarding requirements may face disciplinary measures, removal of access, termination of engagement, or referral to authorities.

14. Confidentiality, Records, and Information Sharing

Safeguarding records must be managed with appropriate confidentiality and security.

Incident records should document the concern, relevant dates, actions taken, responsible personnel, and decisions made.

Information should be shared only with authorized persons who have a legitimate safeguarding or legal need to know.

Confidentiality does not prevent appropriate reporting to child-protection authorities, emergency services, or law enforcement when necessary or legally required.

Records must be retained and disposed of according to applicable law and USAVEME’s documented data-retention procedures.

15. International Safeguarding Standards

Because USAVEME aims to connect people across international borders, safeguarding requirements may vary by jurisdiction.

Our approach is guided by the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and relevant national and international child-protection standards.

USAVEME will seek to implement country-specific requirements where necessary, including those related to child privacy, reporting obligations, parental consent, and protection from abuse.

Participation may be restricted in locations where adequate legal, operational, or safeguarding arrangements cannot be maintained.

16. Policy Review and Continuous Improvement

Child safety requires continuing attention.

USAVEME is committed to reviewing this policy periodically and updating its safeguarding practices as the platform develops.

Changes may be necessary in response to:

  • New legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Changes in platform functionality.
  • Identified safeguarding risks.
  • Reports or incidents requiring corrective action.
  • Recommendations from qualified child-protection professionals.

Our goal is to build a platform where helping a child never creates additional risks to that child’s safety or dignity.

Our Child Safety Promise

Children are not products, sponsorship opportunities, or marketing tools. They are individuals whose safety, privacy, rights, and dignity must always come first.

USAVEME exists to help connect caring people with children and organizations in need, while promoting responsible sponsorship, accountability, and protection.
